Our History
Hello! My name is Stephanie Wenitsky, and I am the owner of Country Charm Furnishings. Thank you so much for visiting our website! I hope you enjoy looking through the pages, and I look forward to meeting you one day soon.
Country Charm Furnishings came to Phoenixville in October, 2008 under the ownership of Nancy Munro (formerly Nancy's Country Furniture). Nancy and I had been good friends for a couple of years when she asked me to be her partner. I was very flattered that she would want me to be her business partner. I have always wanted to have a country store, and I was so incredibly impressed with being able to offer customers such amazingly beautiful and affordable custom furniture, that it didn't take much convincing for me to become part of Country Charm Furnishings. I truly enjoy being able to offer affordable, custom furniture!!
Nancy and I officially became partners in early 2009. We were partners for a year when her family obligations took her life in a different direction. So, 2010 began with me as the sole owner. I miss working with Nancy, but I intend to keep the business going for many years and make my dear friend proud!
My family and I live in Blue Bell, PA, but I am originally from Philadelphia, PA. I'm proud to be a city girl, but I've always decorated my home in a cozy, country style. I grew up in a home with country decor, so I've been greatly influenced and inspired to create a warm and inviting living space.
But, what was country style decorating in the 80's has been replaced by what I like to call "contemporary country." The cozy feeling is still there; it has just been updated with a much simpler style and not as much "stuff" cluttering the home. It really is possible to create a country style or traditional space without the "old" style of decorating or filling up with clutter. One customer said it best ... "Country with class!"
At Country Charm Furnishings, I have strived to create that same cozy and warm feeling that makes customers feel at home. It makes my day when people come in and say how comfortable it is in our shop! So, come on in and see for yourself!

Phoenixville is not only the home of Country Charm Furnishings; it is an extraordinary, historical town with many great shops and restaurants. As the locals will tell you, you don't have to go very far to find unique gifts, great food and drinks and a flourishing culture. There is a great mix of many people from many different backgrounds. Yet, everyone can agree that Phoenixville is the place to go for any and every First Friday. First Friday in Phoenixville is a huge block party with families, friends, music and nightlife that few towns can beat. There is always something going on in Phoenixville!!
